Surf-as-a-Service · Playa Guiones

The ocean doesn't wait.

Door-to-door surf guiding in Guanacaste. Local legends, expedition logistics, and the right break at the right hour.

Pickup

We collect you at your hotel. Boards, water, coffee, all handled.

The call

Your guide reads live swell, wind and tide data and makes the call only twenty years of mornings can make.

You're in

The right break, before the crowd. In-water coaching if you want it. Silence if you don't.

The guides

Twenty years of mornings at Guiones.

SurfWERX is anchored by the twenty-year manager of Guiones' established surf school, alongside five elite local instructors. Every one of them grew up on this coast and guides it for a living.

Reads swell, wind and tide at first light and calls the break that fits the morning and your level — not the one that photographs best.

The WERX-Mobile is a custom expedition build.
Not a shuttle van, a true rolling base of operations.

Concept render · build in progress

The WERX-Mobile concept: a matte-black high-clearance 4x4 expedition vehicle, front three-quarter view, with a roof-mounted satellite dome, roof rack and a surfboard on the rear carrier.
01
Starlink uplink
Live swell, wind and tide data wherever the road ends.
02
Secure board vault
Lockable, padded storage. Your gear rides safer than you do.
03
Cold storage
Nutrition and drinks at temperature, pickup to drop-off.
04
Pressurized rinse
Fresh water on board. You leave the beach clean, not salt-crusted.
05
High-clearance 4x4
River crossings and washboard tracks stop being a reason to settle.
Three technicians outfitting the WERX-Mobile in a fabrication bay: one mounting the roof satellite dome, one wiring the interior, one fitting a rear equipment drawer beside the cold-storage unit and board carrier.

Built once, properly.

Every system is specified and fitted for surf logistics rather than bolted on afterwards: the rinse plumbing, the cold-storage drawer, the board carrier and the satellite uplink are part of the build, not accessories.

The blueprint

Guanacaste is the proof. The model travels.

Playa Guiones is the first outpost and the proof of concept: elite surfers and premium travelers get seamless access to the best beach breaks in the region. Once its unit economics are proven, the model deploys to premier surf destinations worldwide, one local legend at a time.
